Administrative Assistant

How did you come to Jesus?
I came to know Jesus through attending church and prayer meetings. As a child, I realized my need for forgiveness and for God to be ever present in my life. As the years have passed, I have grown, and I cannot imagine even one second with out God's presence.

How/Why did you join FBC Bethalto?
Friends invited us here. We knew very quickly that this is where God wanted us to be. I joined in May 1991.

What excites you the most about FBC Bethalto?
I'm most excited now about the new possibilities for ministry that we have through our new building. It's also exciting to see the new families that are coming.

What should people know about your role at FBC Bethalto?
I have the privilege of working in the front office. This means that I have a lot of interaction with our members and visitors.

What bring you joy outside of your work?
My family is most important to me. I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 girls. I also hope to become more involved with Compassion International. Through this non-profit charity, we have sponsored both a boy and girl in Guatemala. We hope to return to Guatemala on a missions trip by 2011.
