At First Baptist Bethalto, we strive to present a Sunday morning worship experience which both pleases the Lord and enables you to meet Him in prayer.  Our 9:40am Sunday Service allows everyone to worship as one big family, reaching across all generations.

As a result, you will experience sincere, worship music, in both traditional and contemporary styles, as Pastor Larry Rhodes leads our versatile praise band.  Once a month, you will experience original, dramatic works by our drama team, designed to provide honest self-reflection.  Finally, you will be blessed by the messages brought to you by our pastoral staff, including our Senior Pastor, Chip Faulkner, as we approach the truths of the Bible with scholarship and practical application.

We also recognize that not everyone's needs are the same.  We are blessed to share with you our new facility on Moreland Road.  Our new building includes a gymnasium, stage, and a full kitchen, designed to provide flexibility for worship, fellowship, and special events.  Along with handicap accessibility, the building includes several classrooms, allowing us to offer a wide range of classes on both Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.  Finally, in order to invest in the next generation, we offer expanded nursery care and larger classrooms for children and student ministry.

Of course, Jesus said to His disciples, "You will be recognized by your love for one another."  Therefore, we make time to join one another in prayer and fellowship.  Join us on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.  Finally, please keep tabs on our calendar as various retreats, fellowships, and special events are offered for all ages.
