PHILOSOPHY OF MINISTRY
“As I have been able to plant and pastor my current church (NAMB Church Plant) from the ground up, it has been a joy to see our church follow Jesus’ commands in the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20). Our mission statement is to see our church Gather, Grow, and Go as a family locally and the world. We see in Scripture that Jesus commands us to do that and I have a strong conviction that it’s every church’s job to follow Jesus’ commands in the Great Commission.
As I lead that mission out in my church, I also push our church to be involved in our community through service projects and through relationships, just as Jesus was involved in the community in His ministry. As I lead and follow that mindset of ministering in my community, many have told me, both inside and outside of my church, that I can talk to anyone, no matter where they are in their life or their demographic. However, as Jesus was involved in His community, He also shared the Gospel with them. I strive to share the Gospel every day and also teach our church members to do the same. So far, our church has seen 134 people come to saving faith in Christ and 20 of our members have been the ones to lead some of those 134 to saving faith in Christ.
Seeing some of our own church people lead others to Christ is a huge joy of mine in my ministry as I have a desire to make disciples who make disciples. As I train disciples, I enjoy preaching and teaching expository sermons and lessons where the Word of God becomes the main points of all my sermons and lessons.”
