But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

Acts 1:8

Jesus commanded us to spread His offer of salvation to everyone.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…”
Matthew 28:19

As a result, our church values the giving of time and money to support evangelism through missions to fulfill the Great Commission that Christ gives us in Acts 1:8. We seek to spread the good news of the Gospel throughout our local community, our state, our nation, and the rest of the world.  This can look like supporting new churches throughout the St. Louis area, international mission trips to Quebec and Guatemala, or serving at our local shelter.  We also partner with other Southern Baptist churches to send missionaries around the world to those people groups who have never heard of Christ.  Click below to see some of the ways we are actively working with other believers to spread God’s message throughout this world.

Our Community

Riverbend Area

Since 1988 CHC has served individuals and families experiencing financial hardship, whether their circumstances are temporary, short-term, or long-term. They help by offering groceries, clothing, toiletries, household items, prepared meals, haircuts, and other services free of charge. CHC shares hope by extending friendship, compassion, and encouragement to their clients each time they visit.

St. Louis Metro East

Almost 85% of the people in our communities are unchurched. For the Network, reaching these people and leading them to become fully devoted followers of Christ is paramount.

The Bethel Network brings like-minded churches and church planters together to cooperatively plant and revitalize churches.

Our Nation

IBSA seeks to develop healthy, effective Baptist churches, sacrificially working together to advance the Gospel, make disciples of Jesus, and establish new churches throughout Illinois and the world.

As a convention of churches, the SBC’s missional vision is to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every person in the world and to make disciples of all the nations.

North America

In addition to its missionary and chaplaincy efforts, NAMB partners with state and local Southern Baptists to start new churches.
